Citrus Boxes: Available seasonally, December to March. Each curated box features a variety of citrus sizes and flavors, including sweet, zesty, tangy, and tart options. Depending on seasonal availability, you may receive a mix of Satsuma Mandarins, juicy oranges, tangy grapefruit, zesty lemons, and succulent Tangelos. Please note: The varieties change/shift throughout the season as fruit reaches peak harvest. Every variety listed will not be included.

Assorted citrus box

The fruit was nice and fresh. The monks hand citron was really cool. I had never seen one before so I had to Google what it was. The reason for only 3 stars is because I had to throw away 11 of the oranges because they arrived smashed. I have ordered several of these boxes over the last couple years and this was the first time this happened. I blame the shipper not Farmer Ken. It was clearly marked fragile, but the box top looked like something heavy had been set on top of it. Lesson learned. Don't order until after the holidays

We thank you for your support over the years and are disappointed hearing about the experience with the shipper. While we take great care in packaging, occasional shipping damage can occur. We include extra fruit in the boxes to try to offset any damages. We will follow up with an e-mail to get this resolved.

A surprise grab bag

When you buy the Seasonal Organic CSA Fruit Box, you kinda don't know exactly what you're getting. But, so far, it's always wonderful.

Awesome Fresh Fruit

Happy with the variety of fresh fruit included, but the box broke open. Likely lost a few along the way.

Organic CSA Fruit Box

I was so excited to finally receive my fruit box but sadly when it arrived the box was partially crushed and ripped. Fortunately the contents inside were undamaged. Some of the citrus I received were not fully ripened, and inedible. The lemons were on the small side but they were good. I’m undecided on whether I would order again.

Thank you for your feedback! While we take great care in packaging, occasional shipping damage can occur. Fortunately, it’s rare for the fruit itself to be affected, but we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Regarding the citrus selection, our CSA fruit boxes offer a mix of sweet and tart varieties. You received two types of lemons—Ponderosa lemons, which are large, grapefruit-sized with a bold tart flavor, and Eureka lemons, which are smaller with a classic lemony tang. The Navel oranges are sweet and mostly seedless with the signature navel at the bottom, while the Tangelos have a vibrant, tangy flavor and a slightly bell-shaped form. Lastly, the mandarins are small, easy to peel, and delightfully sweet. All of our fruit are tree ripened and harvested at peak ripeness.

Great Variety

I wasn't sure what to expect ordering the Fruit Box but i was happily surprised by such a variety of citrus fruits! I have never tried several of the types of fruits that came in the box and was very happy with everything! I made a Pound Cake from the Ponderosa Lemon and it was fabulous!
